     guably one of the best rappers of all time (if not the best), Tupac Amaru Shakur purchased this Hummer H1 about a month before he was murdered. Boston-based RR Auction estimated the H1 Hardtop would fetch     but in the end someone agreed to pay more than three times the estimated auction price,       to be exact.

    As you would expect from a car ordered by a rapper, the Hummer H1 is far from being standard. It has the usual 90s bling, including diamond-plated bumpers and white “ELIMINATOR” lettering over the rear fenders. Tupac also paid more for a 12,000-pound winch, a 360-degree spotlight, and a grille guard with auxiliary lights.

    The Hummer H1 is motivated by a huge turbodiesel 6.5-liter V8 engine linked to an automatic transmission and it has been driven for only 10,101 miles (16,255 kilometers). It rides on a 38-inch Dick Cepek wheel and tire combo and there’s also a central tire inflation system in case something goes wrong.

    Stepping inside the cabin, the AM General Hummer H1 Hardtop has a beige leather upholstery and a burl wood trim while on the entertainment front there’s a Clarion sound system with a 12-disc changer. It comes nicely equipped with a GPS navigation system and other goodies, such as a sliding rear glass, tinted windows, and an air conditioning system.

    According to RR Auction, the new owner is a Tupac fan and collector from the Midwest who has expressed his desire to remain anonymous. Rap fans have probably figured out by now the "YAKNPAK" vanity plate also honors Yaki “Prince” Kadafi who died two months after Pac. Interestingly, the car came bundled with promotional cassettes of Pac's "All Eyez on Me" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
